Thailand Collection
The collection comprises thirty nine volumes of the first edition of the Tipitaka (or, “the three baskets,” the Pali canon which forms the doctrinal foundation of Theravada Buddhism) printed in 1893, and was presented to St Andrews in 1896 by King Chulalongkorn I.
