Shewan Collection

The collection was presented in 1936 by Dr Alexander Shewan, Indian Civil Service and independent Homeric scholar. The collection contains around 5000 pamphlets (including printed dissertations, articles, notes, and reviews) uniformly bound in 250 volumes, in the field of Homeric studies, mostly 19th century.
