Fleeman Johnson Collection
The library of Dr J D Fleeman (1932-1994), noted Samuel Johnson expert and bibliographer, presented to the Library in 1998 by his widow. It consists of over 1000 volumes by and about Samuel Johnson and Boswell, and is particularly rich in early editions of Johnson`s works. There are 134 pre-1801 items, including two pre-1701, and around 200 19th century items.
