Hollis Collection
This collection was presented c. 1760-1770 by Thomas Hollis (1720-1774), the Dorset 'Lover of Liberty' and library benefactor, who was founder of Harvard Library. It contains 9 volumes, 18th century English books in characteristic Hollis bindings (7 by John Matthewman and 2 by Richard Montagu).
