Ebook Collections: John Benjamins E-books

This guide highlights a range of ebook collections, giving details on the content of the collections, and how to use them

About John Benjamins Ebooks

The University of St Andrews has access to selected e-books purchased on the John Benjamins e-platform. Books are supplied on a Digital Rights Management Free (DRM-Free) basis, so there are no limits on downloading or printing, and there are no limits on how many people can view the ebook at the same time.

Finding JSTOR E-books

All  John Benjamins ebook titles which the University has access to can be found through Library search:

Enter a title, keyword, author, or a combination of these into the search box, and tick the E-Book only box.

From the results click the eBook button , if you need to login you'll be taken to the University of St Andrews Microsoft Office 365 sign-in page, enter your university email address and password.

We don't have access to all the ebooks on the John Benjamins eplatform, just those which have been purchased and are listed on Library search.

Advice when using John Benjamins Ebooks

When you access an ebook on the John Benjamins platform you will see an option to download a PDF or Epub file for the book.  These options are located to the right of the details about the book:

You can only download the whole of the ebook, you cannot download individual chapters.

Please ignore the option to register for an account, this will not provide any additional access to resources, or any additional functionality.
