Use the Tab key to access skip links:

On the results page there are additional skip links:

  • Skip to Results goes to the main results area
  • Skip to Facets goes to the area on the left of the screen which allows you to apply a range of filters to your search, some are within dropdown menus, use the up and down arrow keys to access these.

Using Screenreaders

Library search works with screenreaders allowing you to:

  • Read all the content in a logical order;
  • Navigate the interactive elements;
  • Select links or buttons;
  • Fill in forms using keyboard only

We tested the readability of Library search using NVDA, further tests are being carried out with other screen readers.
