Forbes, George Hay (1821-1875)

The correspondence and manuscripts of George Hay Forbes, a cousin of Principal James David Forbes. G H Forbes was an eminent liturgist and rector of the Episcopal Church in Burntisland, where he ran the private Pitsligo press for the printing of liturgical and other theological works.

A hard-copy handlist of the collection is available, part of which is listed on the online catalogue.  The Library also holds the G H Forbes rare books collection.
