Free e-books, scans, and open access

There are a range of places you can look for free online resources, these are just a few.

Archive.org - contains scans of the full-text of millions of books.  You can "borrow" books by creating an account using the Sign-up/Login option.  It's free to use.

Google books - contains some full-text books, and extracts from some books.  It's worth checking to see if the content you need is available.

OAPEN - an open access platform for academic books, full text titles, freely available.

DOAB - Directory of open access books - academic books, full text titles, freely available.
