Rare Books Collection - includes over 200,00 printed books ranging in date from the 15th to 21st centuries. Use the Rare Books tab on Classic Catalogue to search for items or alternatively browse though our named collections

Archives - includes our muniment collection (items created by the University in the course of its business) and manuscript collection (handwritten papers many of which relate to the local area and the personal papers of people who are or have been connected with St Andrews.

Photographic Collection - includes over 800,000 photographs in a variety of formats, documenting the transformation of Scotland and beyond from 1840s onward.
