World War I: Commemorating the Centenary: Home

Over the next four years, the University of St Andrews Library will commemorate the centenary of World War I. A display of materials from the Library and Special Collections can be found in the Main Library on North Street.

Introduction

Welcome to the World War I Centenary LibGuide. This LibGuide will commemorate the centenary of World War I by displaying relevant and interesting material relating to all aspects of the war. From books, photographs and DVDs to letters, postcards and propoganda, we have materials spanning from the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria on 28 June 1914 which started the war to the agreed armistice on 11 November 1918 that ended it. The wide range of our collection can be found by searching in SAULCAT and Special Collections
